eNVIRONMENTAL sTATEMENT

Salient Consultants recognises that we are currently in a man-made global climate crisis and that businesses must play their part in fighting for our planet’s future. We recognise the need for our business to help reduce this impact by ensuring that we minimise our carbon footprint and eliminate waste.

Throughout all its operations, Salient Consultants strives to be an environmentally-responsible organisation. This Environmental Statement outlines Salient Consultants’ commitment to achieving this objective and details its current practices.

Statement of intent

At Salient Consultants, we recognise that sustainable business practices are fundamental to our future.

We strive to minimise the environmental impact of our daily business operations.

We actively seek out and embrace initiatives that protect the environment.

Guiding principles

  • We actively seek to minimise the environmental impact of all Salient Consultants activities, through minimising travel that requires the use of fossil fuels, reducing waste, most importantly non-recyclable waste, and eliminating the use of animal-based products.
  • We embrace the concept of reject, reduce, re-use, repair, recycle, to reduce our consumption of products.
  • We work in partnership with our stakeholders to promote good environmental practices.
  • As a minimum we comply with relevant environmental legislation.
  • We strive to be a paperless organisation by using modern technology to create, modify, and work collaboratively.
  • We recognise that protecting the environment today is essential to creating a sustainable business future.
  • Environmental responsibility is a key component in the overall brand positioning strategies of Salient Consultants.
  • Efficiencies driven from our core business model enable our services to be delivered with as low an environmental impact as possible.
  • We regularly review our operational activities, systems, and training to ensure our business practice is aligned with this environmental statement.
